Ingredients
- 2 ripe fuyu persimmons, quartered
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 oz rye or bourbon
- 2 tablespoons persimmon puree
- 4 dashes orange bitters
- Seltzer water
- Rosemary, for garnish (optional)
- Fresh cranberries, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender or food processor, blend persimmons, water, and brown sugar until smooth, adjusting the consistency with more water if needed.
- Fill a short cocktail glass with ice.
- Add 2 tablespoons persimmon puree and the remaining ingredients to the glass.
- Gently stir to combine.
