Ingredients
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp white sugar
- 4 fl oz milk
- 1.50 fl oz Baileys
- 1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste
- pinch of ground cinnamon
- freshly grated nutmeg
Instructions
- On a small plate, sprinkle brown sugar. Pour milk into a bowl and dip the rim of the glass in it, then press the moistened rim into the brown sugar to create a sugared rim.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg yolk and white sugar until light and fluffy, ensuring the sugar is completely dissolved in the yolk.
- Using a cocktail shaker, combine the yolk and sugar mixture, milk, Baileys, and vanilla paste. Add a pinch of ground nutmeg and ground cinnamon to the mixture.
- Fill the shaker or glass with ice, then cover and shake or stir with a spoon until well combined and chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass, grate fresh nutmeg on top, and add a dusting of cinnamon for garnish. Finish by adding a cinnamon stick for an elegant touch.
