Ingredients

  • 1/8 cup oats
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 3/4 cup whisky
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine oats and water in a bowl or jug, stir, cover, and let soak for 24 hours.
  2. Strain the oats, squeezing out all the liquid using a fine tea strainer or muslin cloth.
  3. Mix honey into the oat liquid.
  4. Add whisky and stir.
