Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz bourbon
- 1 oz apple cider
- 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 oz pasteurized egg whites
- 4 dashes angostura bitters
- 1/4 oz simple syrup
Instructions
- Combine bourbon, apple cider, lemon juice, egg whites, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
- Dry shake (shake without ice) for 30 seconds, then add ice and shake again for 20 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into a coupe glass.
- Top the cocktail with angostura bitters.
- To create bitters hearts, use a dropper to place the bitter drops and then drag a toothpick through the foam to form hearts.
