Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 miniature bottle of Irish whiskey (1.7 oz)
- 1/2 green apple, thinly sliced
- 1 peach, thinly sliced
- A handful of mint leaves (about 10 leaves)
- 5 oz white wine (e.g., moscato)
- 2 oz soda water/sparkling water (approx, to serve)
Instructions
- In a jug, combine the sugar and whiskey, using a little wine to help dissolve the sugar.
- Add the thinly sliced apple, sliced peaches, and roughly chopped mint to the jug.
- Top up the jug with the remaining wine and chill for at least an hour, preferably longer.
- When ready to serve, spoon some of the fruit into each glass, filling each glass about 3/4 full with the wine blend.
- Top up each glass with soda water or sparkling water.
- Adjust sweetness by selecting a suitable wine and consider adding more whiskey for a stronger flavor or apple juice for an enhanced apple taste.
