Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 miniature bottle of Irish whiskey (1.7 oz)
  • 1/2 green apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 peach, thinly sliced
  • A handful of mint leaves (about 10 leaves)
  • 5 oz white wine (e.g., moscato)
  • 2 oz soda water/sparkling water (approx, to serve)

Instructions

  1. In a jug, combine the sugar and whiskey, using a little wine to help dissolve the sugar.
  2. Add the thinly sliced apple, sliced peaches, and roughly chopped mint to the jug.
  3. Top up the jug with the remaining wine and chill for at least an hour, preferably longer.
  4. When ready to serve, spoon some of the fruit into each glass, filling each glass about 3/4 full with the wine blend.
  5. Top up each glass with soda water or sparkling water.
  6. Adjust sweetness by selecting a suitable wine and consider adding more whiskey for a stronger flavor or apple juice for an enhanced apple taste.
