Ingredients

  • 1/2 Tbsp Aiya Culinary Grade Matcha
  • 1/2 Tbsp granulated cane sugar
  • 2 Tbsp hot water
  • 1/4 C crushed ice cubes
  • 1/4 C natural sparkling water
  • 1 Tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • cherries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk matcha powder, sugar, and hot water until frothy and the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Pour the thick matcha into a tall glass.
  3. Add crushed ice to the glass.
  4. Pour sparkling water over the ice.
  5. Top with whipped cream and garnish with a cherry.
  6. Stir with a straw and enjoy immediately.
