Ingredients

  • Ice
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 2 ounces pink cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1 ounce black cherry juice
  • 1 ounce grenadine
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Candied blood (for rim)
  • Vampire teeth (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, mix light corn syrup and black cherry juice, and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring continuously, then allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
  3. Add red food coloring, stir to combine, and the "blood" syrup will be ready for the rim.
  4. Using a spoon, apply a small amount of the candied blood to the rim of your glass, tapping the spoon along the rim to create a dripping effect.
  5. In a tall glass or cocktail shaker, combine ice, vodka, pink cranberry juice, black cherry juice, grenadine, and lime juice. Stir or shake for about 20 seconds.
  6. Strain the mixture into the prepared cocktail glass and garnish with plastic vampire teeth.
