Ingredients

  • 1 oz light rum
  • 1 oz dark rum
  • 1 oz unsweetened coconut cream
  • 1 1/4 oz pineapple juice
  • 3/4 oz simple syrup (1:1, sugar:water)
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 4 strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a hurricane glass, muddle the sliced strawberries with a few drops of simple syrup. Top with crushed ice.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine the light rum, dark rum, coconut cream, pineapple juice, remaining simple syrup, and Angostura bitters.
  3. Add ice to the shaker and shake until well chilled.
  4. Strain the mixture into the prepared hurricane glass.
  5. Add more crushed ice and garnish with a slice of strawberry.
