Ingredients
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp Maker's 46(r) Bourbon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp coconut extract
- 1/4 cinnamon stick
- Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
- Sweetened flaked coconut for garnish
- Turbinado sugar for garnish
- Cinnamon stick for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a double boiler, combine heavy cream and beaten eggs, whisk to combine, and cook over simmering water until the mixture thickens.
- Strain the egg custard mixture into a large bowl.
- Whisk in the coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, Maker's 46(r) bourbon, vanilla extract, coconut extract, and ground nutmeg until thoroughly combined.
- Add more bourbon to taste if desired and nestle the cinnamon stick into the mixture. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
- Rim the glasses with turbinado sugar and chill.
- Pour the eggnog into the sugar-rimmed glasses, garnish with sweetened flaked coconut, freshly grated nutmeg, and a cinnamon stick if desired.
