Ingredients

  • 1 orange slice studded with 10 cloves
  • 3/8 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1 small bay leaf
  • 1/4 cup añejo tequila
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the water to a simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and add the hibiscus flowers. Cover and let it steep for 2 minutes.
  3. Strain the hibiscus tea into a measuring cup and keep it hot by covering it.
  4. Warm a brandy snifter under hot water.
  5. Place the clove-studded orange slice and bay leaf into the snifter.
  6. Pour the tequila and hot hibiscus tea into the snifter.
  7. Stir in the agave nectar.
  8. Serve and enjoy.
