The Green Garden

This cocktail, originally from 1951, was given a new life by Seattle barman Murray Stenson. It's a refreshing and well-balanced drink that combines the herbal notes of green Chartreuse with the floral sweetness of maraschino liqueur, all brightened up by the zing of freshly squeezed lime juice. This recipe makes two reasonable sized cocktails, but you can also make one jumbo cocktail by doubling the ingredients. Just be warned, one jumbo cocktail might be enough!
