Ingredients
- 2 oz orange juice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2-3 dried figs
- 2-3 fresh sage leaves
- Pinch of ground cloves
- Ground cinnamon (optional, for garnish)
- Sugar (optional, for garnish)
- 5 oz Champagne
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the orange juice, cinnamon stick, dried figs, sage leaves, and ground cloves.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then remove from heat and let it steep for 15 minutes.
- Strain the mixture, pressing down on the figs to release any juice, and refrigerate until chilled, preferably the day before serving.
- For a cinnamon-sugar rim, mix cinnamon and sugar on a small plate. Dip the rim of the flute into water, then into the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Pour 2 ounces of the infused orange juice into a Champagne flute and top with 5 ounces of Champagne. Enjoy!
