Ingredients
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup chopped rhubarb (approx. 1-inch pieces)
- 1/2 bottle True Büch Very Berry Kombucha
- 1/2 cup rosé
- 1 cup halved strawberries
- 1/2 cup chopped rhubarb (approx. 1-inch pieces)
- 1 lime, sliced into rounds
- mint for garnish
- small rhubarb stalk for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium-sized pot, combine sugar, water, and 1 cup of chopped rhubarb. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Place a strainer over a bowl and strain the rhubarb mixture, reserving the liquid. The strained rhubarb solids can be saved for other uses.
- In a pitcher, combine kombucha, rosé, and the rhubarb simple syrup.
- Refrigerate the mixture or add strawberries, rhubarb, and lime just before serving.
- Pour the sangria into ice-filled glasses and garnish with mint and a small rhubarb stalk. Enjoy!
