Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries
  • 2 fl oz Gin
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 sprig Fresh Rosemary
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 2 sprigs Fresh Rosemary
  • 1 tsp Black Peppercorns

Instructions

  1. Start by making the Rosemary Peppercorn Simple Syrup. In a small saucepan over high heat, combine the Granulated Sugar and Water, and bring to a boil. Let it boil for a minute, then remove from heat.
  2. Add the Fresh Rosemary and Black Peppercorns to the syrup, and let it simmer for at least 20 minutes, crushing the rosemary with a spoon to release the flavors. Once cooled, pour the syrup into a sealable glass jar and set it aside.
  3. Chill the coupe glass by placing it in the freezer. You can also add a few ice cubes to speed up the chilling process.
  4. In a shaker, muddle the Fresh Strawberries and simple syrup until the strawberries are crushed.
  5. Add the juice of the Lime and Gin to the shaker, and shake for 20 seconds.
  6. Strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass and garnish with a sprig of Fresh Rosemary and a whole strawberry.
