Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
- 4-5 fresh strawberries, hulled
- 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup sparkling water
- ice cubes
Instructions
- Start by making the simple syrup. Combine the sugar and 1/2 cup of water in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves. This will take about 2-3 minutes. Let it cool.
- Place the hulled strawberries in a food processor and process until smooth, approximately 1-2 minutes. Strain the puree through a cheesecloth or fine sieve.
- In a large pitcher, whisk together the strawberry puree, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Chill in the refrigerator until cold.
- Serve the mixture over ice and top it off with sparkling water.
