Ingredients

  • 1 Apricot (Fresh or frozen)
  • 2 Ounces Bourbon
  • 1 Ounce Aperol Orange Liqueur
  • 1/2 - 1 Ounce Simple Syrup (Depends on the sweetness of the apricot)
  • 1/2 Lemon (Juice only)
  • 1 Mint Sprig
  • 1 Slice Lemon
  • 2 Slices Fresh Apricot

Instructions

  1. Slice the apricot in half, remove the stone, and slice it into 6-8 pieces.
  2. Taste a slice to determine the amount of simple syrup needed.
  3. Reserve 2 slices for garnish.
  4. Place the remaining apricot slices in a tall glass and add the liquor and simple syrup. Muddle the mixture well.
  5. Add ice to a cocktail shaker, then strain the muddled liquor into it.
  6. Cover and shake well.
  7. Strain the mixture into a tumbler over ice.
  8. Garnish with apricot slices, a lemon slice, and a mint sprig.
