Ingredients

  • 0.10 oz cherry jello (or strawberry)
  • 0.10 oz berry blue jello (or blue raspberry)
  • 0.30 cup boiling water
  • 0.03 cup clear vodka (or up to 0.05 cup)
  • 0.10 oz clear gelatin (two 0.25 oz packets of clear gelatin)
  • 0.50 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • Whipped cream
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the cherry jello with 0.1 cup of boiling water, whisking until fully dissolved.
  2. In a 2-cup measuring cup, pour in 0.03-0.05 cup of vodka. Add cold water to the 1 cup measurement line to make the desired strength of the jello shots.
  3. Pour the cherry jello mixture into the vodka mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Pour the cherry mixture to fill the bottom 1/3 of shot glasses and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  5. In another bowl, dissolve the berry blue jello in 0.1 cup of boiling water. Add the vodka and cold water to make 1 cup of liquid. Pour the blue mixture over the set cherry layer and refrigerate until set.
  6. Mix the clear gelatin with 0.2 cup of boiling water, then add the sweetened condensed milk and 0.8 cup of cold water. Pour the white mixture over the set blue layer and refrigerate until set.
  7. Prepare the red jello layer the same way as the blue layer, pour it over the set white layer and refrigerate until fully set.
  8. Top the jello shots with whipped cream and festive sprinkles just before serving.
