Ingredients
- 1 oz cherry jello (or strawberry jello)
- 1 oz berry blue jello (or blue raspberry jello)
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 1/2 oz clear vodka
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1/5 oz clear gelatin (two .25 oz packets of clear gelatin)
- 1/2 oz sweetened condensed milk
- Whipped cream
- Red, white, and blue sprinkles
Instructions
- In a bowl, dissolve the cherry jello in 1/4 cup of boiling water.
- In a separate 2-cup measuring cup, combine the clear vodka and cold water to make 3/4 cup of liquid.
- Mix the vodka mixture into the dissolved cherry jello until combined.
- Pour the cherry mixture into shot glasses to fill the bottom 1/3 of each glass.
- Refrigerate the shot glasses for at least 1 hour to set the cherry layer.
- Dissolve the clear gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water, then add cold water and sweetened condensed milk.
- Pour the white jello mixture over the set cherry layer, filling the shot glasses to about 2/3 full.
- Refrigerate until the white layer is set (about 1 hour).
- Prepare the berry blue jello the same way as the cherry jello and layer it over the set white layer.
- Refrigerate the jello shots for 1-2 hours until fully set.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkles just before serving.
