Ingredients
- 2 oz. tequila
- 1 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice (about 2 small limes)
- 0.50 oz. orange liqueur
- 0.50 oz. Agave Nectar (or use honey or simple syrup)
- 3-4 jalapeno pepper slices (add sliced habanero for EXTRA spicy)
- FOR SERVING: Extra jalapeno slices, Lime wedges, Tajin seasoning + Salt, lime wedge to rim the glass
Instructions
- Place the spicy chili peppers in a shaker and lightly muddle if desired.
- Add the tequila, lime juice, agave nectar, and several ice cubes to the shaker. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds to infuse the tequila.
- Rub a lime wedge around the rim of the margarita glass. Dip the glass into a mixture of salt and Tajin seasoning to coat the rim.
- Strain the liquid into the margarita glass.
