Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plain thick yogurt
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin (coarsely crushed)
  • 3-4 large mint leaves
  • 2-3 sprigs of cilantro leaves
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of sugar
  • 1/2-inch fresh ginger, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 1/2 green chili, slit in half and seeds removed

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the yogurt, water, roasted cumin, mint leaves, cilantro leaves, ginger, salt, and sugar.
  2. Blend until smooth, and strain for a smoother texture if desired.
  3. Place the green chili in a jar and pour the prepared mixture over it to infuse the flavors.
