Spiced Apple Harvest Sangria
A delightful spiced apple harvest sangria with apple cider, brandy, Prosecco, fresh fruit, and a hint of ginger.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 2 tablespoons brandy
- 2 tablespoons fresh clementine or orange juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and very thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon orange bitters
- 1 clementine, thinly sliced
- 1/2 apple (Pink Lady, Honeycrisp or your favorite), very thinly sliced
- 4 oz Prosecco or other dry sparkling wine
- Pomegranate seeds, for serving
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, mix together apple cider, brandy, clementine juice, lemon juice, ginger, and bitters.
- Stir in clementine and apple slices and refrigerate the mixture for up to a day.
- When ready to serve, add Prosecco.
- Serve over ice with a few pomegranate seeds, if desired.
