Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1-2 shots espresso
  • 1/2-3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. In a jar with a lid, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and boiling water. Close the lid and shake until the sugar is dissolved to create the brown sugar syrup.
  2. Add espresso to the jar with the syrup, then top with ice. Shake until chilled and frothy.
  3. Strain the brown sugar syrup and espresso into a tall glass filled with fresh ice.
  4. If desired, froth the milk and pour it into the glass.
