Ingredients

  • 1 oz Drambuie
  • 2/3 oz freshly brewed hot espresso coffee
  • 2/3 oz Scottish whisky
  • 1/3 oz Crème de Cacao (brown)
  • 1/2 oz Single cream (18% fat content)

Instructions

  1. Place a generous amount of ice into a mixing jug, then pour in the alcohol and coffee.
  2. Stir briskly for 30 seconds to chill, blend, and dilute the ingredients.
  3. Strain the mixture into an empty rocks glass or short tumbler.
  4. Fill the glass to the top with ice.
  5. Slowly pour the cream over the ice cubes so that it floats on top.
  6. Serve immediately.
