Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 5 oz fruity red wine, such as pinot noir
  • 0.50 oz brandy
  • 0.50 oz fresh orange juice
  • 0.50 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.50 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz ginger ale
  • 1/4 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 slice each of orange, lemon, and lime
  • 1/4 fresh peach, pitted and sliced

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, bring sugar and 1/2 cup of water to a boil, then simmer until the sugar dissolves; remove from heat.
  2. Transfer the sugar syrup to a pitcher and let it cool to room temperature.
  3. Add the wine, brandy, and citrus juices to the pitcher, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  4. Just before serving, stir in the ginger ale, pineapple, citrus slices, and peaches.
  5. Pour the sangria into a glass filled with ice and garnish with some of the fruit.
  6. Serve the Sangria Soirée immediately and enjoy!
