Ingredients

  • 1 oz tonic water
  • Ice cubes
  • 2 oz rosé wine
  • 1 oz gin
  • 1 oz grapefruit juice
  • 2 tsp rose syrup or cane syrup
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • 2 cardamom seeds, crushed
  • 1 egg white
  • A few edible dried roses
  • 1 long piece grapefruit zest

Instructions

  1. Pour the tonic water into a wine glass or wide cocktail glass.
  2. In a shaker, combine the rosé wine, gin, grapefruit juice, rose syrup, rose water, crushed cardamom seeds, and egg white. Shake vigorously.
  3. Strain the mixture into the glass with tonic water.
  4. Garnish the cocktail with edible dried roses and a piece of grapefruit zest, pressing it around the rim of the glass.
