Ingredients

  • 1 package pop rocks candy
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 1/2 oz tequila blanco
  • 1/2 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz simple syrup (or agave nectar)
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle out pop rocks candy in a shallow dish or bowl.
  2. In a separate dish or bowl, pour out lime juice.
  3. Flip the glass upside down in the lime juice dish and spin to evenly coat the edge.
  4. Dip the glass immediately into the pop rocks filled dish, pressing to coat the pop rocks candy around the edge of the glass.
  5. Flip the glass over and fill with ice.
  6. In a cocktail shaker, combine pomegranate juice, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and simple syrup.
  7. Shake well and pour over the ice.
