Peligroso Paradise Punch
A tantalizing blend of rum, Campari, Averna, fresh lime juice, and spiced syrup, finished with a dash of Angostura bitters, creating a unique and flavorful cocktail that is both refreshing and complex.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. rum
- 1/2 oz. Campari
- 1/2 oz. Averna
- 3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
- 3/4 oz. spiced syrup (see recipe below)
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- For Spiced Syrup:
- 4 cups water
- 20 allspice berries
- 10 whole cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 cups sugar
Instructions
- To make spiced syrup, combine water, allspice berries, cloves, and cinnamon stick in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes.
- Slowly stir in 2 cups of sugar until completely dissolved.
- Add the remaining 2 cups of sugar, stir to dissolve, then remove from heat and let cool.
- Strain the syrup into a bottle and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
- For the cocktail, combine all the ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake to chill.
- Strain into a coupe glass.
