Ingredients

  • Lime wedge
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 6 oz pomegranate juice
  • 1 1/2 oz silver tequila
  • 1/2 oz peppermint twist Smirnoff
  • 1/2 oz lime juice (divided)
  • Pomegranate seeds
  • 1 mint sprig
  • 1 cup ice (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle sugar onto a plate in a small pile.
  2. Rub the rim of a cocktail glass with a lime wedge and dip the rim into the sugar to coat it.
  3. Fill the glass with ice and add a few pomegranate seeds.
  4. In a cocktail shaker, combine pomegranate juice, silver tequila, peppermint vodka, and half of the lime juice.
  5. Shake the mixture for 10 seconds.
  6. Pour the cocktail over the ice in the glass.
  7. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and a sprig of mint.
