Ingredients

  • Lime wedge
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 6 oz pomegranate juice
  • 1 1/2 oz silver tequila
  • 1/2 oz peppermint twist Smirnoff
  • 1/2 oz lime juice (divided)
  • Pomegranate seeds
  • 1 mint sprig
  • 1 cup ice (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Rub the rim of a cocktail glass with a lime wedge, then dip the rim into a pile of sugar to coat it.
  2. Fill the cocktail glass with ice and add a few pomegranate seeds.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine pomegranate juice, silver tequila, peppermint twist Smirnoff, and half of the lime juice. Shake for 10 seconds.
  4. Pour the cocktail mixture over the ice in the glass.
  5. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and a sprig of mint.
