Ingredients

  • Lime wedge
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 6 oz pomegranate juice
  • 1 1/2 oz silver tequila
  • 1/2 oz peppermint twist Smirnoff
  • 1/2 oz lime juice (divided)
  • Pomegranate seeds
  • 1 mint sprig
  • 1 cup ice (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle sugar onto a small plate.
  2. Rub the rim of a cocktail glass with a lime wedge, then dip the rim into the sugar to coat it.
  3. Fill the cocktail glass with ice and add a few pomegranate seeds.
  4. In a cocktail shaker, combine pomegranate juice, tequila, peppermint vodka, and half of the lime juice. Shake well for 10 seconds.
  5. Pour the cocktail mixture over the ice in the glass.
  6. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and a mint sprig.
