Ingredients

  • 2 oz. rye whiskey
  • 3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 oz. maple syrup
  • 1/2 oz. dry red wine (Malbec)
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Fill a shaker tin with ice.
  2. Add rye whiskey, fresh lemon juice, and maple syrup to the shaker.
  3. Shake well.
  4. Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.
  5. Gently pour the Malbec over the back of a spoon to float it on top of the drink.
