Ingredients

  • 8 oz coffee
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 oz Irish whiskey (e.g. Jameson)
  • heavy cream
  • boiling water

Instructions

  1. Heat your glass by pouring boiling water into it, swirling it around, and then discarding the water.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of brown sugar to the bottom of the glass.
  3. Fill the glass halfway with coffee and stir to dissolve the sugar.
  4. Pour in 1 oz of Irish whiskey.
  5. Slightly froth the heavy cream and gently pour it over the back of a spoon onto the top of the coffee.
