Ingredients
- 1 lemon
- 1.50 oz Everclear (or quality vodka)
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 vanilla bean
- cheesecloth
- bottle
Instructions
- Zest the lemon and combine with Everclear in a container to infuse for a week.
- Warm milk, sugar, and vanilla bean in a saucepan over medium heat until dissolved. Let it cool to room temperature.
- Remove the vanilla bean and strain the mixture through cheesecloth.
- Combine the lemon-infused Everclear with the sweet milk mixture, stir together, and strain through cheesecloth.
- Funnel the mixture into a bottle and store in the freezer. Serve in chilled glasses.
