Ingredients

  • 2 whole lemons, preferably Meyer lemons
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary
  • 2 lemon slices, seeds removed
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Pinch of Kosher salt
  • 1.50 oz Bayou Silver Rum
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, squeeze the juice of the lemons, and add 2 rosemary sprigs and 2 slices of lemon.
  2. Add the sugar and fill the pitcher with water, then stir gently.
  3. Let the mixture steep for 2 hours or overnight.
  4. Rub the rim of a tall glass with a lemon slice and coat it with kosher salt.
  5. Fill the glass with ice and add 1.5 oz of Bayou Silver Rum.
  6. Pour the lemonade over the rum and ice.
  7. Garnish with a slice of lemon and a sprig of rosemary.
  8. Repeat for each cocktail.
