Ingredients

  • 4 kumquats, cut in half
  • 1/2 large lime, juiced
  • 3-4 basil leaves
  • 5 ounces sparkling water
  • Ice
  • Additional kumquat slices and basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the cut kumquats, juice of 1/2 lime, and basil leaves in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Muddle until all the juices are released from the fruit.
  3. Gently stir in sparkling water to combine.
  4. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
  5. Garnish with kumquat slices and fresh basil leaves to serve.
