Ingredients

  • 2 fl oz Bourbon
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 5 drops Liquid stevia
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 Egg white (for Boston and New York sour variations)
  • Dry red wine (for New York sour variation)
  • Orange slice or cherries for garnish

Instructions

  1. For a simple whiskey sour, fill a shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Pour bourbon, lemon juice, and liquid stevia into the shaker, and shake until cold and frothy.
  3. Fill a short glass with ice cubes, then strain and pour the drink into the glass.
  4. Garnish with an orange slice.
  5. For a Boston whiskey sour, add all ingredients plus one egg white to a shaker without ice. Shake for approximately 30 seconds, then add ice to the shaker. Shake vigorously, then strain and pour over new ice in a short glass. Garnish with an orange slice.
  6. For a New York sour, follow the instructions for a simple whiskey sour. Optionally, add an egg white and do a dry shake. After pouring the drink, spoon 1-2 tablespoons of dry red wine over the top without stirring. Garnish with an orange slice or cherries.
