Ingredients
- 1.50 oz Irish whiskey (or blended scotch)
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 5-7 oz freshly brewed black coffee
- 1.50-3 oz chilled double cream
- Nutmeg, for grating
Instructions
- Preheat a heatproof glass by filling it with hot water, then pour out the water.
- Pour the whiskey into the glass and add the brown sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the freshly brewed coffee and stir to combine.
- Lightly whip the cream until slightly thickened.
- Slowly pour the whipped cream over the back of a spoon into the glass to create a layer on top of the coffee.
- Grate a little nutmeg over the cream layer and serve.
