Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Whole milk
  • 2 oz Semi-sweet chocolate (60% cocoa solids) (or 0.6 oz milk chocolate + 1.4 oz dark chocolate (with 70% cocoa solids))
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Baileys Irish cream
  • 1/4 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons Baileys Irish cream
  • 1 teaspoon Chocolate flakes

Instructions

  1. Heat the milk in a pan over moderate heat.
  2. Add the chocolate and stir until melted, ensuring the milk is steaming but not boiling.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract and Baileys Irish cream.
  4. Optional: blend the hot chocolate using a milk frother or an immersion blender.
