Ingredients

  • 1 tsp matcha
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2-3 tbsp earl grey tea simple syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 tsp earl grey loose leaf tea (or 4 tea bags)

Instructions

  2. Strain the tea leaves or remove the tea bags, then return the saucepan to the stove and bring to a slow boil.
  3. Stir in sugar until dissolved, then remove from heat and let the tea simple syrup cool completely before using it for the iced bergamot matcha cooler.
  4. To assemble the drink, sift the matcha powder in a vessel with a resealable lid, and add cold water to make cold brew matcha.
  5. Seal and shake vigorously for 15 seconds or until frothy, with no matcha clumps.
  6. Fill a glass halfway with ice, then pour the cold brew matcha, milk, and earl grey tea simple syrup over the ice.
  7. Stir everything together and enjoy!
