Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cup apple cider
- 1 1/2 tbsp butter
- 2-3 apple slices
- 2-3 pear slices
- 2 thumb-sized ginger slices
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1/8 tsp allspice
- 1/16 tsp ground cloves
- 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 oz Myers's Dark Rum
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the apple cider, butter, apple slices, pear slices, ginger slices, cinnamon sticks, allspice, ground cloves, and brown sugar.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the dark rum.
