Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cup apple cider
  • 1 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 2-3 apple slices
  • 2-3 pear slices
  • 2 thumb-sized ginger slices
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/8 tsp allspice
  • 1/16 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 oz Myers's Dark Rum

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the apple cider, butter, apple slices, pear slices, ginger slices, cinnamon sticks, allspice, ground cloves, and brown sugar.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
