Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (1/2 stick)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup hot water or coffee
  • 1 tablespoon batter
  • 1 ounce dark rum
  • Whipped topping for topping
  • Cinnamon for topping

Instructions

  1. Place brown sugar and butter in a microwavable dish. Microwave for 1 minute.
  2. Whisk in the spices and vanilla.
  3. To make the cocktail, add one tablespoon of the batter to 2/3 cup hot water or coffee. Stir well.
  4. Add in the dark rum and stir again.
  5. Top with whipped topping and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
