Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup ice water
  • 1 large tea bag (or 2 regular size)
  • 1 oz fresh blackberries
  • 1 sprig mint
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1-2 Tbsp simple syrup
  • 2 oz Jack Daniel's Honey Liqueur
  • Lemon slice, blackberry, and mint for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup of water, then steep the tea bag in the water for 10 minutes. Allow the tea to cool for 10 minutes, then add the ice water.
  2. In a bowl, mash the blackberries and mint, then add them to a pitcher. Squeeze the lemon and add the juice to the fruit mixture, stirring thoroughly.
  3. Once the tea has cooled, fill the pitcher with ice, add the fruit mixture, and stir well.
  4. In a glass filled with ice, combine 6 oz of tea with 2 oz of Jack Daniel's Honey Liqueur, and stir gently.
  5. Garnish with a lemon slice, a sprig of mint, and a blackberry. Serve with a straw.
