Ingredients

  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/3 honeycrisp apple, chopped
  • 3 orange slices
  • 5 oz red wine (light-bodied Spanish variety)
  • 3 oz apple cider
  • 1 oz brandy
  • 1/2 oz orange juice
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon
  • Club soda, to taste
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the cinnamon stick, chopped honeycrisp apple, and orange slices.
  2. Pour in the red wine, apple cider, brandy, orange juice, and lemon juice. Stir gently to mix the ingredients.
  3. Refrigerate the sangria for 6-24 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
