Ingredients
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3-5 apricots, pitted and sliced
- 1 cup water
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 0.75 ounce honey apricot syrup
- 0.50 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 5 drops bitters (Dram Apothecary's Hair of the Dog bitters)
- Mint for garnish
Instructions
- To make the Honey Apricot Syrup, combine sliced and pitted apricots, honey, sugar, and water in a small saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
- Strain the syrup and store it in an airtight container in the fridge.
