Ingredients

  • 1 fresh large egg
  • 2 tablespoons fine sugar
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon white rum
  • 1 tablespoon bourbon
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg (fresh)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions

  1. Crack the fresh egg into a blender and blend on low speed for about 30 seconds.
  2. While the blender is running, gradually add the fine sugar and blend for an additional 20 seconds.
  3. Turn off the blender and add the heavy cream, whole milk, white rum, bourbon, nutmeg, and ground cinnamon.
  4. Blend on medium speed until all the ingredients are well combined, approximately 10-15 seconds.
  5. Refrigerate the eggnog with the lid secured overnight or for up to three days.
  6. When ready to serve, give the eggnog a quick 10-second blend on medium speed to remix the ingredients.
  7. Pour the eggnog into a glass and garnish with a sprinkle of fresh nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.
