Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon water
- 1 tablespoon evaporated milk
- 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
- 3 drops neon green food coloring
- 8 fl oz lemon-lime soda, chilled
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved; then remove from the heat.
- Stir in evaporated milk and almond extract. Transfer to a bowl and allow it to cool to room temperature. Once cooled, cover and refrigerate until chilled.
- Just before serving, transfer the milk mixture to a punch bowl and stir in the food coloring and soda.
- Top the punch with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in each glass.
