Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 3-4 ice cubes
  • Additional cold water
  • Cold milk (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a frappé shaker, combine the instant coffee, sugar, and 1/4 cup of cold water.
  2. Seal the shaker and vigorously shake to create a thick froth.
  3. Pour the froth over the ice cubes in a glass.
  4. Fill the shaker with a little more cold water, swish it around, and then pour it into the glass.
  5. Add additional cold water as desired, leaving room for milk if preferred.
