Ingredients

  • 3 fl oz freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 fl oz lime juice
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary
  • 2 fl oz water
  • Sugar for rimming
  • 1/2 lime
  • 2 fl oz simple syrup
  • 3.50 fl oz sparkling water
  • Rosemary sprig for garnish
  • Grapefruit slice for garnish
  • 5-7 small ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Squeeze the pink grapefruit and half of the lime to obtain the juices.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the juices with water, sugar, and rosemary. Simmer for 7-9 minutes until well mixed, then remove from heat and strain the syrup. Let it cool.
  3. Wet the rim of a glass with the remaining lime, then dip the glass in sugar for a sweet and tangy rim.
  4. Add ice cubes to the glass.
  5. Pour 2 fl oz of simple syrup into the glass and top with 3.5 fl oz of sparkling water.
  6. Stir well with a spoon.
  7. Garnish the drink with grapefruit slices and a sprig of rosemary, then serve.
