- 1/2 cup ripe, sweet, and preferably yellow plums, pitted and cut into chunks
- 1-2 tablespoons organic cane sugar, depending on taste and plum tartness
- 6 oz dry white wine, such as Riesling or Riesling Sylvaner
- 1/2 - 1 oz crème de cassis

Instructions
- Cut the ripe yellow plums into chunks and combine them with sugar in a pitcher or bowl. Let them sit for about 30 minutes.
- Pour the dry white wine over the plums and sugar.
- Cover and chill the mixture overnight to allow the fruit to absorb the alcohol.
- The next day, ladle the chilled drink over crushed ice in wide-brimmed wine glasses, ensuring each drink has some fruit.
- Add the desired amount of crème de cassis to each drink, creating a lovely pale plum color or a vibrant purple hue.
- Garnish each drink with a sprig of fresh lavender or mint.
