Ingredients

  • 2 oz London dry gin (Beefeater is a great choice)
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon superfine sugar
  • 3 oz club soda
  • Garnish with an orange slice

Instructions

  1. Fill a shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  2. Pour in the gin, lemon juice, and sugar.
  3. Shake well.
  4. Fill a collins glass halfway with ice cubes.
  5. Strain the drink mixture into it.
  6. Top off with the club soda.
  7. Stir, and garnish with the orange slice.
